1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Tournie ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Beta Disclaimer
The Platform is currently in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice. We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted service during the beta period.
3. Description of Service
Tournie is a digital league management platform. It facilitates team submissions, fixture scheduling, scoresheet recording, and standings management for the Cork badminton competitive season. The platform also imports publicly available tournament data to provide league information.
4. Eligibility
Use of the Platform is currently limited to individuals affiliated with clubs registered with Cork Badminton. Access is by invitation only during the beta period.
5. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- Each person may hold only one account.
- You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading match results or player information
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your club affiliation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or platform systems
- Use the Platform for any purpose other than its intended league management function
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Tournie. Player and club data submitted to the Platform remains under the ownership of the respective clubs and individuals.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" during the beta period. Tournie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. The Platform is not a substitute for official Badminton Ireland records.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@tourn.ie.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
